Lovely Couple

Well, this is not funny. It’s lovely indeed. They are my neighbor. Some day around the lunch time, the temperature is a little high, they both just slowly walk into the jungle.

the pictures are very lovely. I saw a similiar situation, when I was on Koh Samui in my summer holiday. You have a very nice nature on this paradise island. Hard to wait for my next holiday on Samui. Maybe next year.

lol a good couple i like grass and behave of seagull in past when i was in my village i daily see these kinda scenes so very thanks i am now in my “PAST” for a while

I think there is probably a symbiotic relationship between the two whereby the heron is getting a meal from the ticks/bugs on the water buffalo and the water buffalo is getting cleaned by the heron.
You really have to like that type of interaction between two species!!

It is difficult to predict how and why animals will bond with each other. Sometimes it’s a matter of symbiosis. For example, some birds will clean the fur or hide of larger animals, clearly ridding the host of annoying pests.
In other cases, the digestive processes of one assist another, as in the termite being able to digest cellulose as a result of a helper on board.
Then we have situations where one species will adopt the other as parent or child.
Nature’s ways are mysterious in many sometimes. Or they may just seem mysterious to us at this stage because our knowledge is limited at the moment.
As we study, analyze and experiment more, some of these so called mysteries will be understood more fully.
the first picture shows the affection between that 2 different animals…. really these kind of pictures are very rare.
