Bophut Beach, Koh Samui

Bophut beach is in the north of Samui. Although the beach is quite narrow and the sand is not so tender, compared with Chaweng beach, it is much cleaner. Besides, it has Phangan island as a shelter to protect it from wind and wave. So, you can play in the water on this beach even on a rainy day.

Along with Bophut beach, there are a short row of original wooden buildings, called "Fisherman's Village". It is recommended to visit twice a day, once in the morning then again after the sun goes down. The contrast of these different times will surely make you surpirsed.

Calmness and warmth you feel in the morning will be changed to light, a relaxed and friendly atmosphere of a boutique restaurants. Without pub, bar, and confusion, Fisherman's Village is a place where you should come to sit and chill out.
