Sea Canoeing - Kayaking Koh Samui

A Sea Kayaking Adventure to the Ang Thong National Marine Park, famous for inspiring Alex Garland’s book, The Beach, is perhaps the most scenic tours that are available.

The tour begins in the morning from Nathon Pier in the north west of Koh Samui, where you will experience a light breakfast served on board a three level fully equipped 23-metre boat before you set sail. The trip to the nearby Angthong National Marine Park takes under two hours and provides views of the wonderful scenery of the north coast of Samui and Koh Phangan, the location for the monthly Full Moon Parties.

Upon arrival to the calm waters of the Marine Park, your guide gives a briefing on the day’s program and introduces a fleet of the world's number one sit-on-top kayak, the Malibu Two.
And then off you go to discover magical caves and bizarre rock formations amongst the dozens of dreamy deserted beaches. Keep your eyes and ears alert you may meet the families of whales, dolphins and monkeys that make this spectacular park their home. You will enjoy a nice Thai lunch and have plenty of time for exploring beneath the water or for just slowing down and taking in the many images that will stay with you forever.

Two people, maximum, man the kayaks or you can ride independently. You can race each other, explore the area together, and really have a great day out that you can’t replicate anywhere else. It would be even better if you bring along a waterproof camera and take some snaps of your trip.

Full Day Kayaking in Angthong Adventure

Transfer from your hotel to Bangrak Pier. Depart Samui on a private boat fully equipped and enjoy your light breakfast on board (croissant & tea or coffee).

Arrive at Angthong Marine National Park and commence the morning Sea Canoe to the beach. You can take an easy but spectacular climb through the dense tropical forest and narrow ravines that take you to the green lagoon and spectacular island viewpoint. Then board the luxury boat and cruise through the magnificent scenery of the marine park while a delicious lunch buffet is being served.

Arriving at Tai Phow Island, an experienced guide will lead you to explore the ancient limestone cave along the coast and bizarre rock formations by sea canoe. You can choose either to return to the boat or snorkel amongst the diverse marine life before leaving for Koh Samui.

Pick up from your hotel to the pier where you will board the boat. Light breakfast is served on board while an experienced guide will give you a brief knowledge on geographic, nature and background of Angthong National Park. Sea Kayaking with American made kayaks.

Explore the coast of Mae Koh. After landing the kayaks on the beach you take an easy but spectacular climb through dense rainforest and narrow ravines to arrive at the green lagoon. Board the Escort boat and cruise through the magnificent beauty of the park's northern region as a sumptuous buffet lunch is served.

Arriving the destination of 'Dragon Island' or Koh Wao. Here you have a choice. Join the guide tour and explore the caves and bizarre rock formations, arriving back to the boat in time to explore the underwater sights, or if you prefer spend the afternoon snorkelling, swimming or at leisure. The boat has a huge sundeck for those who enjoy sunbathing. Depart Koh Wao and head for Samui. Transfer back to your hotel.
